THE MINIBREAK FASHION EDIT // what to pack in your travel bag

The Autumn Weekend Edit

I have to admit to a frisson of excitement when the new autumn collections drop.

It’s my favourite fashion season by a mile; I’m too old to get away with skimpy summer styles, and in winter all I care about is maximum warmth – even if that also means minimum style.

Autumn travel fashion, for me, is relaxed chic – boots, leather jackets, slouchy jumpers, and pashmina scarfs; outfits that will see you from the the airport, straight on to a day of sightseeing.

My current colour obsession is mustard yellow – which also happens to be timelessly autumnal – and I’ve never met a boot I don’t like. Roll on autumn minibreaks – I’m ready for you!

I am loving your collection, although and love the jumper from H&M. I love seeing collections like this as it makes me think more about what is out there and what I could wear other than my go to leggings and top x

I’m just as guilty at falling back on the Mum uniform – one of my resolutions this year is to make more effort and stop looking like such a scruff bag!! x

I’m not usually a ‘bright colour’ person either – don’t really like to draw too much attention to myself – but this is colour is pretty enough to override my shyness 😉 x

I am loving the autumn weather. I adore the crew top you have added to your post and I simply love the boots you have chosen also. The jumper you have chosen is a bold, key piece.

Your amazing at pairing things together! I’m one of those people that struggle to see outfits together, and much to my other halls dismay, have to try a million things on to get the right combination! Autumn fashion is my favourite x
